What is This Problem Designed to Solve

By Rita Hausken

What Is This Problem Designed To Solve? is a quiet, direct book for senior women leaders working inside complex systems.

It is for the woman who can see the bigger picture, yet keeps being pulled back into meetings, urgency, repair work, and decisions that do not touch what is really happening.

Through four lenses - Compassion, Vision, Creativity, and Fierce Curiosity - Rita Hausken invites the reader to slow down and listen differently to the problem in front of her. The question at the centre of the book is simple and demanding:

What is this problem designed to solve?

This is a book about energy, direction, and the deeper work a problem may be asking of you. It is for women carrying real responsibility in climate, energy, sustainability, infrastructure, finance, policy, philanthropy, and other fields where the decisions matter.
