What if We are Wrong?

After having been a Jehovah's Witness for about six years, the author is confronted with a question that he has been thrusting aside for a long time. Important though this question is, he finds that merely asking it can lead to undesirable consequences, and none of his colleagues have allowed the possibility it points to to even form in the recesses of their minds. Inclined to go along with the flow, he, for a while, decides to ignore the splinter in his mind. However, his intense desire to defend the truth overrides him, and eventually, he finds that he must swim up the waterfall and find the answer to the question of all time; the question to which intuitively, he knows the answer: What if we are wrong?
