But He is all there is to me. I am as deep as this: I have only Him. There is no mystery, irony, or feature about me that is amazing or even interesting but that He chose me and I am His. That is the story of stories as far as I can tell. You need to know that I am not a religious man, as one might think of that term, even though I am an ordained Presbyterian minister. I am simply a disciple, a follower of Jesus of Nazareth. Sometimes I follow him closely and sometimes I don't, to my own hurt and my own shame. But I am His. And He is mine-in the sense that He has given His life to me."

I read it from cover to cover in one sitting!

Dr. Milton's book was given to my husband and I as a gift. Last night I thought I'd read a few pages before I went to sleep, instead, I read it from cover to cover! How could I put down: "I was supposed to have been aborted. But that is not my identity. I was abandoned, abused and kidnapped - all before I was five years old. But that is not my identity."? Michael Milton has something to say, and those who read and understand, will never walk the same way again. I am going to give this book to my grown sons as a valentine's gift, to my friend's for their birthdays, family member's for their Chritmas gifts, and I'll probably keep a few in my car to give to someone, just because I want to. Now I've got to go write another thank you note to our thoughtful friends who gave us ours for Christmas.

This is a Life-Changing Book!

In his book, What God Starts, God Completes, Dr. Mike Milton opens his life and his heart to the reader. Through this candid account of his life, Dr. Milton demonstrates that that he is living proof of God's grace. I read this book in 2 evenings. I could not put it down the second night. I am so grateful that this wonderful man of God shared his story with me so that I could so clearly see God's love for me and His mercy and grace. As Dr. Milton's story unfolded, I could see the Lord standing right there in the midst of it. I highly recommend this book to everyone!
