What Do You Fear.: Come with me. I'm Cold.

Charles would would write three letters per week to different company's the salary which he was receiving at the moment wasn't enough to take care of his mother and father as well as pay the bills. One morning after the postman had delivered the post through there letter box one of the letters were addressed to Charles. It was a letter of acceptance from a company in New York where he applied to as a watchmaker. Charles and his parents spent the day celebrating Charles good news. The following morning Charles walked downstairs into the kitchen to cook breakfast for everyone.

His mother walked down the stairs ten minutes after then she shouted upstairs to tell her husband that breakfast is ready. Charles mother never got a reply. Charles said to his mother that he will go and take a look maybe he's still fast asleep. Charles walked upstairs and pushed open his father's bedroom door and walked over towards the bed. Charles father was lying there in bed there wasn't a sign of him breathing. A small black creature crawled out from the inside of his nose. Charles ran downstairs to his mother and said to her he's dead.

Charles mother fell to her knees with tears streaming down her face. Charles put his arms around his mother and assured her that he will take care of everything. Charles started to organise everything for his father's funeral, but it all soon became to stressful for her and she suffered a stroke and passed away their was nothing that Charles could do to prevent his mother from having a stroke. Charles used the rest of the family saying's to cover the cost of the funeral's. After two weeks Charles put a sale sign at the front of the house.

It was sold just in time before he had to move to New York for his appointment. It was Charles first day at work. The manager explained briefly to Charles what he will be doing whilst he's employed at the company and showed him to his desk. Charles thought it's unusual that there isn't any female ladies working in any of these offices rather than at the reception desk. One week later Rosey walked through the office block main doors with the receptionist Mary and left her with the manager. The manager and Rosy was talking as they walked towards her desk which was next to Charles desk.

At the end of the day Rosy was walking towards the entrance to leave the building when Charles opened the doors for her. Rosy started to blush and then she said thank you. Charles asked Rosy if he could take her out for dinner one evening and Rosy replied that she hardly knows him. Charles replied to Rosy just have a think about it. The following week Charles and Rosy attended a restaurant for dinner. Charles kept on distracting Rosy by discussing random things whilst he reached into his pocket and took out a box containing an engagement ring to put on Rosy's finger. It became a bit of a shock to Rosy, but she loved how the diamond was sparkling.

One morning when Rosy attended work she started to have a conversation with Mary which it started to escalate. They would spend some of their lunch times together sitting on the park bench discussing each other's background, but Mary wouldn't discuss much about here background. Rosy invites Mary to their apartment for dinner Friday evening after work. Charles was always suspicious and he had his doubts about Mary just from over hearing two of his work colleagues whispering different things about her.

Charles had known to himself maybe a week later he can mention it all to Rosy then she can make her own decision's about Mary, apart from telling him it's only whispers and Mary is a nice person with a good personality. Rosy, said to Charles that she expects him to be respectful towards Mary when she does arrive Friday evening.

Rosy and Charles wasn't aware of Mary's odd gift? There was a sudden knock at the apartment front door. Mary had arrived with a black book in her hand for Rosy. Why?
