In the story "What am I Feeling: A Trip to the Zoo," we follow Jesse and his family on what turns out to be an emotional rollercoaster for the young boy. He experiences an array of feelings based on the circumstances of the journey which are pictured in colorfully beautiful renderings. This book was written as a means to educate young and mature audiences alike in recognizing what emotions look like on the face. It also gives them a chance to express how a similar experience might make them feel? The last section of the book provides definitions, example sentences and how that feeling might be discerned in the body. This work would be a perfect addition in libraries of parents, grandparents, guardians, foster parents, teachers/educators, churches, and therapist offices just to name a few.
