outdated in parts but still worthwhile

Overall this is the (only) book to buy fif you're visiting Western NY and I'd definitely buy it again It's just probably due to the crappy economy but SOOOO many businesses listed in the book are out of business that you need to back this book up with a phone call before showing up. This is true of stuff listed on the internet too, not just this book. We also found that the Maid of the Mist in Niagara (Canada) doesn't run until dusk (per book) it stops at 5 pm. We've now used this book on two trips to New York state on vacation and it was well worth the price.

WNY what to do

WOW this is the book to have...if you live here or are visiting. Looked up my ole haunts and they were included in the book. It's a must own!!!
