Afaan, while in his room, falls into a deep thought about his life and the current world. He tries to dive out of the current veil of modern lifestyle, and observe from a distance. He discovers an intense deprivation of morality, ethics and inner happiness in the lifestyle. The thought forces him to be indebted to his family values, he thinks of the injustice he is doing by following the modern culture blindly and wasting his time on it, rather than working hard on his religious principles, his education and in his life. He feels that the Prophet Muhammad PBUH did not travel through Taif for him to waste his time on the modern west, and feels it as a disservice to the Prophet's sacrifices and the sacrifices of the Prophet's companions. The thought one by one forces him to study the backbones of the modern lifestyle and its drawbacks that remain hidden under the pleasing and attractive veil that is the modern west lifestyle.
