A journey of stark-reflection, vulnerability, and grace

Do you ever read a book and feel humbled by the author's vulnerability, resilience, stark self-reflection, and brutal honesty that makes you wonder when was the last time you took a good, honest, deep look at yourself, both through the eyes of the world, and through the eyes of God? Tasha's deeply human voice brought me with her in her confrontation of pain, doubt, failure, and ultimately, redemption. I found myself at once convicted, cherished, grace-filled, humbled, but intimately and wholly loved taking the journey with her. What is truly humbling is that in her words, Tasha has shown the very real work she has had to do, not only to survive and overcome her struggles, trials, and traumas, but learning what it means to be a follower of Christ in and amidst her own challenges. There is real insight here because she labored for every truth made manifest she now lives. This book is a profoundly human portrayal of discipleship, one that invites you, has invited me, to examine our own hearts without shame, but with hope. Now a warning. Do not read this book too quickly, or gloss over sections out of expediency or assumptions. This is a book in which the very sections you might be tempted to minimize, might be the very areas of your walk with Christ that need another intentional look. Other sections, if you read slowly and carefully, might reaffirm, re-inspire, and renew your own faith, your own worth, and magnificence as beloved of God. Take the time to read, reflect, and experience Tasha Page’s journey with faith.
