Stayed in this Hotel and the Service is awesome! Books nice too

My Wife and I had our wedding reception in the hotels garden ballroom this year and stayed a few nights in one of the amazing rooms. Let me just say the book was fun and a nice keepsake for us. You can also buy it in their gift shop. The hotel is breathtaking and the book really answers the questions you have about its history. Its a must have. Staying in the Hotel is an experience you will remember for a life time. Heated marble floors. Amazing views and I would go as far as to say the nicest hotel on the east coast and maybe the Americas. We love our book and display it on a shelf in our living room. Next best thing to being there.

A Terrific Addition to New Hampshire's Seacoast History

Dennis Robinson's book is much more than the history of a hotel; it is the story of New Castle, New Hampshire, from its settlement in the 1600's to modern time. The building, development, and ultimate salvation of the Wentworth has had much to do with this unique island village and its dynamic, fascinating people. The book is artistically done, with more than 250 pictures and drawings from all eras. Well written, it is filled with facts, legend, and lore told in an engaging manner that has its reader beginning at the front cover and following straight through to the end as if reading a novel. A terrific addition to New Hampshire's seacoast history!
