My 2 and 4 year old grandsons love this and zing one liners from it at me all the time. This and Where the Wild Things Are are their favorites. As for adults, I think that the kid in the story is a lot like many of us were, so we can see ourselves doing the things he does. It takes us back to a childhood we either had or wish we had.

This is a really really really funny book. Really. There are not that many books that will make an adult and a child snort milk out their noses, but this is one.It is also a very useful book to defuse any bedtime terror left over from inappropriate television viewing. If your child is scared of vampires, this book will make it better.
