ABOUT THE AUTHOR: In many ways, Wembi: The Cursed Mushroom is a fantastical, and somewhat exaggerated version of the very real events the author has gone through. It is a story of sacrifice, vengeance, magic, slow-burning passion, impossible attraction, action, and some elements of humiliation. If you enjoy the story, please leave a review and a rating, feedback is always welcomed! Due to a terrible curse, Wembi has lived his life as a walking, one-foot-tall mushroom. He has lived with his human mother and sister, cast away in a small sector of the forest- along with other castaways and mythicals. They live under the constant threat of the expanding regime of the Planian Dynasty. They are forced to hide every day, fighting for scraps of food, while the King and the Witch expand their reach with the help of the Royal Sons, the pompous and dangerous princes of the land, Kiven and Kinneth. The Royal Sons are powerful elementals, using their powers of water and fire as a means of punishing anyone who stands against the Dynasty. Fueled by resentment and vengeance, Wembi plans on changing this. He plans on taking revenge on his father, the King, for cursing him to this life, and will not rest until he finally brings the Royal Sons and the villanous witch to their knees. Wembi finds himself in the royal palace, facing daily humiliation, as he puts his plan into action. What Wembi doesn't know, however, is that sometimes things don't always go as a planned and his journey with one of the princes is one he never expected.
