Fantasy and reality meet in a story parents will relate to

My girls picked this one based on the cover - they're a little bit drawn to "scary" stories at this age (3-1/2). In this tale a little girl (just about their age) is reluctant - at best - to get dressed for school. She imagines various monsters and her mother scoffs at her, only to find that they are indeed hiding in the house. A second look reassures the family it was all in their imagination. I gave it four stars because I thought it was a little confusing whether the monsters were real or imaginary, but my daughter loved it. She's sleeping with it right now! Any parent will relate to the preschoolers' strong will, imagination and delaying antics!
