This is the story about an eighteen-year-old girl, who was forced to live with her alcoholic father when her mother left her. She suffered mental and physical abuse for years. On her eighteenth birthday, she tried to kill her father. He had everybody in town believing she was crazy. One night she was acting strange, and he called the Sheriff. They both agreed to have her committed to an insane asylum, where she would suffer her entire life.
