Jessica loves two things in this world more than anything: horses and her father. When her father passes away, her life is thrown into turmoil and she must find a way to keep the family horse farm, Happy Valley Stables, afloat. Further complicating things, Jessica's estranged younger sister Nicole, who has been living with their mother in Manhattan, shows up at their father's funeral. When they are informed by the family attorney of their father's last wishes, they are both shocked to learn that they have both been left the stables, with one provision - they both must live and work together on the farm for one month before either can take full possession.
