John Dowson has it all: a loving wife, two wonderful children, and a coveted sales job at The Company. It's a perfect life in idyllic Easy Valley, where every day is sunny. Neighbors wave as you walk by, supper is always hot and ready, and there's a brand-new luxury car in every driveway.
But when a workplace accident leaves John concussed, cracks in Easy Valley's syrupy-sweet veneer begin to form. The homes seem a little older, the lawns a little longer, the friendly neighbors a little more distant. And it's raining for the first time that John can remember.
Slowly, he realizes that something is very, very, wrong in Easy Valley.
Haunted by memories of another life before, John must decide whether to risk it all for the truth or remain in a beautiful lie.
