I have created this collection of my short stories as a sampler of my work. I've thrown in everything but the kitchen sink, and I would have thrown that in if I could have fit it in my scanner. I sincerely hope you enjoy my short stories, but my biggest hope is that they will in some small way assist you in extending your imagination
My sincere thanks to those who would part with some of their worldly resources to make this publication possible. The seeds you plant, may feed others in the future.
My respect and good thoughts are yours
Your buddy, Lee...2026
This diverse collection of narratives explores themes of identity, technological control, and survival across shifting timelines and realities. Several stories center on advanced artificial intelligence, such as the Taurus project, where digital constructs manipulate human lives or seek their own sentient freedom. Other tales journey through history and the supernatural, featuring a resurrected Roman soldier, a haunted ventriloquist dummy, and a colonial-era mystery solved with modern forensic concepts. Post-apocalyptic scenarios also appear, depicting humanity's struggle against rising oceans and alien infiltrations that consume the mind. Temporal anomalies further bridge the gap between eras, showing characters who accidentally travel through time via scorched electronics or futuristic rings. Ultimately, these sources examine the fragile boundary between truth and simulation, questioning what it means to be human in a world governed by hidden forces.
