She is recognized as a global expert on black work embroidery and a teacher of many other advanced stitching techniques. She lives in East Hampton, NY, with her husband.

New ideas for using a massive button collection.

I've collected a lot of buttons over the years. I use them in my embroidery, I do tatting around them, I use them in many ways. I'm always looking for new ideas. This book has good ideas. The designs are simple, easy to use, & can be done in under an hour. Although simple the designs are colorful & plesent& could be used in wide variety of projects. While doing a few of the designs, I began thinking of minor changes I could make, which has eventually lead to completely new ideas. A good book will always inspire, to me its a very good book.
