Great way to spend time with your child

A great way to read to your young child..the music is catchy and you will both soon be singing along. We enjoy the entire series..our favourite remains "Opposites".

Engaging and Fun

Our 4-year-old received this for Christmas from Grandma. She quickly figured out the pages for each letter correspond to the short songs on the tape. Each side of the tape has the same content - the traditional alphabet song, little songs for each of the letters (featuring an animal, a name, and a musical instrument), then the alphabet song again. It's a nice little educational entertainment for the car.

Wee Sing top quality tape, book just okay...

I love the Wee Sing series - great music with charming children's voices covering Bible stories, nursery rhymes, folk tales, etc. This tape has the same wonderful voices and pretty good music;however, I found the book that accompanies it has pretty shaky illustrations. For instance, the monkey for letter M looks more like a purple bear. Previous books have rich illustrations with depth. These just look like novice computer renderings of animals, even to my 2-year old. I do think in spite of the mediocre pictures, it is still a great buy for the price. You may want to go through this one with your child a few times to clarify animals and explain some of the rather exotic instruments shown: an elephant playing a euphonium, yak playing a yueh chin, etc.
