Beth Murphy, at thirty-six years old is going through some changes, and some of them being that she gets braces on her teeth, she has recently moved from the city to Sweetbriar, and she's planning a wedding to Peter. But something keeps getting in the way of the big day. It could be Peter. It could be her. Or does it have to do with Roger Cave, an old classmate who keeps showing up? Her aging parents has her father in a nursing home, and her mother may have to drive a golf cart to get to her shopping plaza. Beth's three brothers are living in Rhode Island, and she and their mom and dad are in Florida. But soon she may be the only Murphy in the Sunshine State as it's time for them to go back to their hometown. So if she wants Mom and Dad to see her finally get married, she will have to have this wedding now.
