This is the best mathematics dictionary currently available. The book has that rare combination of characteristics: it is comprehensive and precise--and it is written in understandable language. It includes many helpful illustrations accompanying geometry-related entries. The ample cross-referencing aids those interested in expanding their understanding of particular concepts.
