Inspiration, variety, and fun!

If you're looking for a book that offers many different ways to explore hand weaving, this is the one. The projects are appropriate for young children or full-grown adults, and they're simply and clearly explained. All kinds of different materials can be used--paper, burlap, wire, cardboard, reed, or even drinking straws or pipe cleaners! It discusses more traditional weaving, too, such as tapestry and rug hooking. And it's beautiful to browse through. I especially like the use of unusual materials, like feathers, grasses, and shells, in many of the finished weavings. Very inspirational!

Outstanding and beautiful book for weavers of all ages.

A truly beautiful compendium of weaving techniques that a beginner could enjoy. Lovely full color examples and interesting text. This book shows many examples of various artists and offers their techniques to allow anyone to follow their creative impulses. I genuinely enjoyed this book!
