I am very happy with this book. It has lots of practical information and it is designed to be used each week thru the year.

EXCELLENT PARENTING BOOK W/ GREAT CHILDREN'S BOOK LISTS.

You do not have to be catholic to totally become absorbed in Mrs. Marx's comments. The book breaks the year into weeks/with timely family topics, bible verses, and excellent childrens' book recommendations and follow-up family discussion questions. Adults and children alike will be enlightened by the variety of circumstances discussed with a very open mind. This is the first book like this that I have seen and you won't be disappointed. Topics range from baseball and the "Amazing Mets", to miscarriage, abortion, death, Christmas, discipline,moving..and on and on. It's a wonderful book for today's busy families.

This is a book that touches the reader's souls. The author opens her and her family's life stories and tells of the trials and tribulations and you quickly realize she is telling your story as well. I was touched by the compelling passion in her work. She weaves her stories in such a manner that makes you feel a part of it all. I found the book references to be invaluable. For every topic she covers, there are guides to more specific works that you can study. I would highly recommend this book to all families.
