we Women me: joy. is actually the end of the first portion of this series. Set with the confidence of a woman who has endured, this short portion is part of a greater whole. Poems have the ability to reach deeply. Like music and melodies, poetry makes the most of the human experience. Allowing for greater understanding into one's own inner world.

This short book of poems makes the case for true joy based in a deep faith, acceptance of receiving and facing what true healing actually produces: Love

The beauty of poetry allows for many facets of oneself to resonate, both for the reader and the poet. While this is a memoir, we, Women, me: joy. is a reminder to view ones own transformative events have the potential to shape humanity.

This small body of poetry was created to celebrate hard fought joy. Each poem is to be viewed in light of your own story. These truths are universal, but may appear different in the narrative. Please allow each to speak and transcend- and especially, not to be taken so literally.

You may wonder why publish the ending first. Well, honestly, I have always read the first few pages of a book then skipped straight to the end, filling in the rest later. So Here is the End of the Beginning.

While it almost seems impossible to find joy at this current moment in history, my hope lives in the everyday, somewhere that falls between heaven and earth.

I invite you to find your joy. To find the funny in those lost places.
