Eight months have passed since the incident aboard Pluto Station Epsilon. While the Security Division struggles to keep the gorier details of the encounter out of the public's eye, the rest of the Space Corps continues its search for the Thlelolelan asteroid ship, which is believed to still be at large somewhere in the solar system. Captain Joseph Sims and Captain Sarah Brillow each have a command of their own and are desperately hoping their extended (and so far, fruitless) hunt will end soon. But when news of an alien attack on the Martian moon Phobos starts to spread, Director Burnham recalls the Berlin survivors, and some new faces, to investigate this incident. Apparently the Thlelolelans are interested in continuing their enigmatic mission and have now set their sights directly on Earth. With time running out, the Space Corps must scramble to find a way to stop the approaching asteroid ship before the Thlelolelans can unleash their power on our home planet....
