Danny Morgan, a 15 year old boy who had just finished his freshman year of highschool, goes missing in his neighborhood without a trace. Panic is struck into all of the residents and his mother is broken beyond repair. Five of Danny's closest friends--Mya, Maria, Jackson, Michael, and Ayana--refuse to sit and wait around for the cops to find or not find him. They come up with a plan to search for him. The five teens venture into the forest near their neighborhood, driven by despair and desperation to find their friend. Things take a turn for the worst, and what they encounter in those woods are things that none of them will be able to forget for as long as they live.
