We Buried Him: A Haunting Novel

By Dean Rasmussen

They buried him. Then he came home. How long before he remembers everything?

Paige knows exactly where her brother is. She watched Ethan's casket lowered into the ground. She watched the dirt cover him.

So when he walks into their kitchen the morning after his funeral-alive, breathing, and acting as though nothing has happened-Paige's grief-stricken family is forced to confront the impossible.

Ethan has come home.

But something isn't right.

He's calm. Gentle. Nothing like the volatile teenager Paige remembers. And with each passing day, he's starting to remember the night he died.

Soon, the miracle of Ethan's return gives way to fear. Neighbors whisper. Old rumors resurface. And as disturbing questions spread through their small town, even the people who once loved him begin to wonder whether the boy who came home is really Ethan at all.

But Paige fears something far worse.

How much longer before her brother remembers everything?
