Mr. Roger H. Ponce Jr. is currently a Superior Court Commissioner. Previously, he managed his own law firm for over a decade, defending immigrants in removal proceedings, and before the immigration service, and in criminal court, as a state and federal public defender before becoming a judicial officer. He has represented hundreds of non-citizens and mixed-status families and has gone through the process himself as an undocumented immigrant to U.S. citizen, through family, his parents, grandparents, and wife.
