I know many women who could have benefited from it decades ago and I hope they pass this to their daughters. Each profile is presented in an individual way with photos and various collages. It really shows how 46 teenaged girls are different, yet so similar in the way they view the world. It is entertaining and will keep a teenager's attention. It is easy to read through, yet complicated with it's different stories and beautiful zine layout. This would have been such a nice book to read when I was a teenager. I highly recommend it to be given to any young girl you know - even if she seems to have it "all together", which even the most popular ones don't. It deals with the emotions young women have when facing the media, society, school and family. Every one of their words are so true! This would be a great addition to a school library or to be read in a special English or writing class in middle/high school.
