Best book I have read this year!

I read alot of suspense books so it is rare that I get to the twist without already figuring it out, but this one got me! Spring Weston feels like her whole life is her sport. It is the only way she can measure up to her super successful family. But when an accident strips that from her, she is left to wonder if life is worth living. Torin Cotter is a policeman show loves his job, but carries some deep psychological wounds after his wife's murder. He has sworn to serve and protect, but never to give anyone the chance to get close ever again. But when his newest case starts to put chinks in his armor, can he protect her and get out with his heart and mind intact? You will be on the edge of your seat! Waylaid is the first book in a brand new series by Jerusha Agen. Once again, Mrs Agen is a master at twist and turns. She also creates characters whose behaviors are so real. I can totally put my self in their mindsets and understand their feelings. She also has the talent to create families, both blood and found, to which you wished you belonged. I received an advances copy, but all thoughts and opinions are my own honest review.
