This book held me riveted from the beginning to the end. Now fast forward to 1 year later and I have been stalking Google and all other sites trying to find out when the next book is coming out. Mr. Dickens if you are reading this (not that I am impatient) but can you please hurry LOL!
AWSOME BOOK.. LOVED EVERY WORD

I really enjoyed this book. To me, it placed right along side Frank Peretti and Ted Dekkar. It had me from the character description in the begining of the book. Every character came alive. I researched and found out this is the only book he had published, and disappointed to find out that no other books in this series are in the works. I was ready to buy every book in the series had they been published. I loved it!!

This book is an awsome story of how the power of Christ can help even the strongest get out of the worst of situations. I HIGHLY RECCOMMEND IT!!! It is very descriptive in detail and the battles are exceptionally cool. Do yourself a favor and get this book.
Powerful, deep, and not for the squeamish!

This book follows a fictional champion of the Lord, who is a foreshadowing of God's judgement and wrath, a topic most Christians seem to ignore these days. He can execute judgement at the Lord's direction and battles in the spiritual realm as well as the physical. Though I do not agree with every nuance in this book, I agree with almost all of it. This book mentions many modern and not so modern organizations, and how the spirits of darkness work through them. There are many spiritual parallels in the book, which begins in the Roman age not many years after Christ left the earth. The story then jumps forward to modern times, carrying with the main character a wealth of history. This book is written with brilliant, descriptive depth, ranging from the beautiful to the grotesque. The description of the angels and demons was masterful. Other descriptions make this book not one for the squeamish or faint of heart. It is brutally descriptive concerning death and battle scenes. No flowers and butterflies mentality here concerning violent episodes. The people who were shocked at one such scene in Shane Johnson's "The Last Guardian," will clutch their chest and die at parts of this book. Fair warning has been given to the puddin'-pops. ;) With all that said, this was an awesome book and a meaty one. Save the milk of the Word for the kiddies, you're having steak tonight! The author even has a section in the back detailing the spiritual concepts of the book that will further your understanding of what he was trying to get across. Buy your copy now! Excellent, Well Researched

This is a very captivating book that was well researched. It introduced thought provoking questions as well as reveiling facts about organizations that people today beleive as being just good but are really evil. You don't find many books that give the Gospel of Jesus Christ like this one, most christian books give you just a watered down version or none at all. Very well written. With the guidence of the Holy Spirit and the scriture verses to go back to and compare, you are able to come to the same conclusions as Matthew did also with the guide of the Holy Spirit. Well done, easy to read and picture from the begining to the end. Can't wait to the next one in the series comes out.
