Well before the fear of a zombie attack, there were only a few basic rules to survive: Find suitable shelter, immediately board up all windows and barricade all doors. If even to survive the initial invasion, one would have needed to begin stock-piling weapons and supplies, for the fight with vicious gangs and crazed looters would unfortunately occur, for they themselves would have failed to prepare. Within the chilly fall air in the formerly peaceful mountain town, the leaves had begun to change according to the season.
