Water, water everywhere, but not a drop to drink. Familiar line. Most of us aren't aware, that our freshwater sources are decreasing, as the population demands increase. Our water usage is managed by ourselves and so we turn on the supply and usually don't give any thought to how much we are using. As the Olympics draw near take a good look at their swimming pool because each person on earth requires 2/5's the volume of water in each of those pools (1,000 cubic meters) per year for drinking, bathing and growing our food. The Water Stewardship program is a simple and straightforward approach to becoming self-aware of how we use water in our daily lives and what choices we can make to maintain our freshwater supply. You can measure the impact you have on your water and help to protect the resource. Easy to read, fun to do. A must have.
