The Ultimate George Washington Biography

The definitive biography of Founding Father and first president of the United States George Washington. It's an almost impossible task to tackle the entire history of Washington's life, but Chernow does a very good job at doing so. From his colonial military career and French and Indian War, to the American Revolutionary War, and finally to the presidency, "Washington: A Life" captures all of the details of George Washington's journey into the history books. A must-read for history fans.

Loved the first 4 chapters...

Loved the first several chapters until my dog literally ate it. He destroyed it completely so I'm buying it again.
