Was That A Breeze?

These short poems written from May to October bring the reader to the desert of the Southwest in the heat of summer. The writer is balancing a full-time job, time with grandchildren, and time to just BE. Sitting in her backyard during the early mornings, she writes down her thoughts and soon notices that her moments of inspiration are accompanied by a breeze. She grows fond of a large lizard that comes to stay and is revived in lessons from the birds, the trees, the sky and the sun. These are personal poems that Connie chose not to 'be critiqued' before being published. They were written for fun and relaxation. But for some reason, she could not let them stay in her notebook, to which she might say, "Was That A Breeze?" The book includes photos.
