About the Author

JD Hyde, having grown up in and around central Texas in a large family of 2 brothers and 5 sisters, was introduced to reading by his first grade teacher, Mrs. Reisinger. Each afternoon during rest-time she would read to the class. Her emphasis on the importance of reading stuck with him his entire life.
