Excellent treatment of this topic

This book gives a greater understanding of who Christ is by describing in detail how the words used to describe Jesus had very specific implications and meanings. It has given me a greater appreciation for the Bible and Jesus.

Understanding the immensity of Christ for first time

After a lifetime of worshipping Christ in faith, this book has opened an entirely new perspective on who Jesus really was. By offering a grammatical expose of the origitan Greek together with the implications of the meaning of the text, Zodhiates unravels what is normally a mystery accepted by faith into nourishment for the intellect. Does the Bible not say we should love Him with all our hearts, our souls and our MINDS? This book is a must for readers who are no longer satisfied with the lollypop exegeses and Gospel that are flooding the market, especially for those who want to know more but do not have the benefit of knowing the Biblical languages. For an amateur, this book reveals what the theologians take for granted but seldomly convey to ordinary people. It requires concentration and time, but it is worth every word's reading and contemplation. I have found this explanation of the text also extremely helpful in my discussions with Muslims about the deity of Christ. It is a must for missionaries who deal with Muslims who enter into debate with Christians from an intellectual angle.
