Discrimination and Prejudice in Department of Homeland Security Custom Border Protection Agricultural Specialist. The only Black Agricultural Specialist who fought racial prejudice on the job daily. It was a game to them from the top to the bottom. He passed a background investigation as a USDA Animal & Plant Health Inspection Service Employee / Plant Protection and Quarantine Office. They did another background investigation when merged with Customs and Immigration to form Dept of Homeland Security. At the age of forty they went back to when he was seventeen a juvenile more than thirty years looking into his background. Nothing was change on his background application. For the next three years he had to prove that he was not the same person at seventeen when given a ticket for possession of marijuana less than an ounce or at twenty nine for drug trafficking. It didn't matter.
