Do you ever wonder what a child who has never experienced our present day society would react to our world if that child were suddenly placed among us?This short story is a follow-up to a previous story "Let Nothing Stand In YOUR way."Both describe a child born on a primitive island, Each goes searching for persons who are part of the child's background.The child in this story is the daughter of the child in the first story who is born at sea. The mother dies within a few hours. Her dying wish is that her daughter Nihill be returned to her island. This story describes a child, Walawua, born to Nihil. She attempts to trace her and her mother's heritage. In that struggle Walawua meets persons who build missiles, persons who fund the production of missiles, persons who have lost their homes as a result of missiles and war.The short story describes her journey seeking persons who have contributed to her history and heritage. Despite all the troubles she encounters she is able to broaden her understanding of herself and all those who have contributed to her history an heritage.
