War Torn Book 2

By: Lloyd, Jan

Spring 1944. Europe is engulfed in war-and so is her heart.

After enduring the horrors of Auschwitz and Dachau, violin virtuoso Frances Meyer suffers the ultimate betrayal-rape at the hands of her former friend, Otto Von Liechtenstein. Guilt-ridden, Otto swears to have her released from Dachau. But Frances doesn't seek freedom-she wants justice.

As word of her release arrives, Frances begins plotting her revenge. Yet it is not Otto who waits for her, but Mueller-the U-boat Kapit n who once saved her from the Atlantic and with whom she fell deeply in love.

As Nazi Germany collapses and the Allies press forward, Frances must decide if she can heal from the trauma of war and reclaim her future. Will Mueller survive the deadly mission his superiors demand? And can their love endure the shadows of their past?

War-Torn: Book 2 is an emotional World War II historical fiction novel about survival, justice, and the redemptive power of love. For fans of Kristin Hannah, Martha Hall Kelly, and Heather Morris.
