Peter Senese: The Birth Of A Wonderful Storyteller!
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
I am not one for many words, but I will say that Peter Senese's War On Wall Street held my interest from the opening pages to the book's very end. I read everything Ludlam and Clancy, and though the writing style is different, Peter Senese has developed something very unique and promising here. I believe we have a writer who is going to educate and entertain us for years to come.
A Thought Provoking High Stakes Thriller
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 24 years ago
WAR ON WALL STREET is a masterfully written analysis of several current concerns that all Americans face today. In this novel, it is evident that Peter Senese's understanding of medical, financial, and political history runs deep. The observations made are thought provoking, detailed in presentation, but not overloaded, and solution oriented. What's best about WAR ON WALL STREET is how the author clearly confronts the reader with a series of real issues, wraps them into a high-stakes thriller, and leaves you wanting more, but satisfied with what you received. I am not sure I have read anyone whose writing style is similiar to Senese's. This is a brilliantly written novel. As I turned the pages I was able to visualize everything. My copy of WAR ON WALL STREET is in high demand on my Trading Floor. Well done!
A suspenseful pace is unmistakeably set . . .

A suspenseful pace is unmistakeably set in "War On Wall Street's " opening pages as a plane soars through the sky in route to New York City. Page after page, Peter Senese created a terrific suspense thriller that brings you into all that is New York. What awaits Tyler Cain, a seasoned banker working on Wall Street, is something he could never have been prepared for. "War On Wall Street" is a masterfully developed story obviously based upon many historical events.
'War On Wall Street' - a New Yorker's New York!

'War On Wall Street' accuratly brings the reader through a New Yorker's New York with a sense of brash boldness that's underbelly is filled with insecurity and uncertainty - and isn't that the human spirit? For those of us who consider ourselves 'New Yorker's', this novel is a wonderful examination of life in the city.I was particularly impressed with how the author, Peter Senese, was able to handle the most technical financial transactions in a way that allows all readers to understand the breathe and scope of Wall Street. In Peter Senese's 'War On Wall Street', I found a very intersting subliminal message, one that I wondered about as I read through the novel. It seems at times that the author may be talking to Tyler Cain, the story's main character about the very insecurities and uncertainties that we all face. This set of lessons, if I may, is executed brilliantly. As for 'War On Wall Street's' espionage storyline, I will say this: read this book carefully. It is a wonderful story, and a sincere examination of the human spirit.
This Book Works!

I was finally able to get a copy of this much anticipated book, and to my surprise, it surpassed my high expectations. From what I understand, Orion Publishing & Media had decided to withold 'War On Wall Street's' anticipated release due to the close proximity of events regarding September 11th, 2001. After reading Peter Senese's most insightful book, I could completely understand why the publisher choose to delay the book's release date.In 'War On Wall Street' Peter Senese takes the reader through the predatorial world of global finance in a manner the press is now reporting due to the ongoing war on terrorism. The author clearly illustrates how finanacial terrorism is the basis for any acts of terrorism that this country faces. Tying in past and present historical events, Senese's 'War On Wall Street' educates the reader on a host of issues, including biological terrorism, finanical terrorism, capital market subterfuge - and faith. The reader is drawn into a unfolding set of circumstances that allows for a careful, but stirring read. The events that are discussed in Peter Senese's fictional work are of great interest to all persons, and I suggest it to all persons who enjoy crime/espionage works of fiction as well as anyone interested in a modern day love story. I found myself rooting for Senese's protagonist - Tyler Cain, and his cleverly developed associates, though there were times that I questioned each characters motives - which only made me want to read further - quicker. If I had to compare Peter Senese's work, I would have to say that it is a cross of Grisham meets Griffin meets Clark. The only difference is that I walked away understanding certain aspects of the financial market that I never would have realized. The book really works. I would prefer not to reveal any endings, but I will say this: after completing 'War On Wall Street' I felt very anxious, yet, in an odd way, somewhat secure in the fact that I am part of a world striving to better itself. I am waiting eagerly for Peter Senese's next work. I strongly suggest this book.
