Luke Short wrote more than 50 books.

Four of Luke Short's 50 books (Rimrock, Barren Land Showdown, Last Hunt, and Silver Rock) were set in the 20th century. War On the Cimarron, set in the 18th century, is good but not as good as the other four I've mentioned. In my opinion, Short was the best Western writer of all time. Any of his books is well woth reading.
