War on Terror or War of Terror

There is a thin line that forms the divide between war on terror and war of terror; and it is important to note that no country or government organisation sets out to implement a war of terror on any territory. But when due diligence is not given to human rights considerations, what was intended for the greater good of humanity could turn out to do a great harm to other members of the human race. Terrorism is as dangerous as it is complex and cannot be tackled by simple military operations. So, as the enterprise continues to evolve into new forms, governments must take the pain to develop multifaceted strategies in the fight. On the other hand too, citizens cannot expect to hide under the cover of citizenship to get radicalised and constitute threat to others around them. As soon as they constitute a threat either to the state or other citizens, they can be sure to forfeit their rights and face the consequences of participating in one of the greatest challenges of the modern man.
