War of Worlds: Yemisi and the Martians

By Amos Ahams Akor

When mankind eventually stepped foot on Mars, they found that life started on the supposedly dead planet same time it did on Earth but got stunted by cosmic hardship that forced the resident creatures to take refuge underground for centuries in wait for a time like this.

The choice to abort the mission by western space agencies a few hours before touch-down could be an act of betrayal since none other had the requisite technology to return to earth without landing on the red planet to face whatever danger there is.

The war between the resident creatures and the aliens from earth was overwhelming, yet, the arrival of other interstellar aliens got things worst; the survivors must learn to adapt to life among the Martians if they must win a war between worlds.
