"There was then a battle in heaven. Michael and his angels warred against the dragon. The dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail and there was no longer any place for them in heaven. The great dragon was then cast down, the ancient serpent, called the devil or Satan, the seducer of the whole world; he was cast down to earth and his angels with him.Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying: Now has come salvation, the power, and kingdom of our God as well as the authority of his Christ because the accuser of our brothers has been cast out, the one who accused them day and night before our God. And they overcame him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they despised life itself even to death. Therefore, rejoice, O heavens, and all you that dwell in him Woe to land and sea, for the devil has come down to you, filled with great wrath, knowing that he has little time left.
