War in Heaven

War in Heaven is volume 2 and volume 3 of the Poetry in the Light Series combined. It also contains new material related to the series. In 2002-2005, Frank DeF popularized the use of free verse combined with art to produce what he calls abstract poetry. With the advent of blogs, it had become commonplace to post art with poetry. In 2010, his first book "Here We Reach the Beginning" he combined his poetry with the work of several artists. Since being incarcerated in 2013, Frank DeF has begun a donation based ministry. In his book "Heaven is Now," he argues that each prison is a community and that if inmates are give the opportunity, they can make a positive contribution even to the surrounding community. This is what he calls the "making a difference" movement. Frank's books contain Bible commentary and teach principles of Christianity. He is dedicated to educating others who are also incarcerated.
