Fourth of the Wandor epic fantasy adventure series From prolific fantasy author Roland J. Green.IN THE ANCIENT DAYS... "There was a King, and he wore Five Crowns and all the world owed him homage and lived at peace. Then the years of darkness came and men became as beasts. But it is said a King shall once more rise to wear the Five Crowns and bring men to peace." Deep within the blackness catacombs beneath the city of Kerhab, Wandor the Swordsman and his beautiful Gwynna receive a terrible judgment. For their reluctant part in the unjust war against Kerhab, they must now capture the dreaded Dragon Steed of Morkol-a great winged creature possessed of wondrous and deadly powers. Something not accomplished for a thousand years. Alone in their desperate quest to find the beast-and bring peace once again to their embattled world-Wandor and Gwynna set forth on adventures as perilous and heroic and as fantastically imagined in WANDOR'S RIDE, WANDOR'S JOURNEY, and WANDOR'S VOYAGE. "Roland Green...has mastered the art of writing continuously fresh and picturesque series of character novels...entertainment it is." - Chicago Sun-Times For fans of Game of Thrones, Conan, The Witcher, Wheel of Time, and Lord of the Rings.
Wandor's Battle when? Sword of Artos - it might be a place. Also the baby could be twins - he and she.

I too have had the series for years, and have always wished to know if Wandor ever gained the fifth crown. Also can understand why it wasn't finished, but do regret that it was not. Do you suppose I would have forgotten about it if I had known the ending?
Entertaining fantasy novel!

Okay, I bought "Wandor's Voyage" back in high school and then bought all the rest, (including "Wandor's Flight") as quickly as I found them. I have loved this series since day one and I still do. I am still hopeful of someday reading "Wandor's Battle". Since this is the fourth book in the storyline, one can tell that the author needed a break from the characters. Mr. Green's writing, although vastly entertaining, was starting to seem somewhat strained in maintaining the reader's interest. Since almost 16 years have passed since I first read this book, it is my profound hope that Mr. Green will finish this series up in spectacular fashion and also revisit the "Peace Company" series. (All titles of which I also have in my library) The story begins with Wandor and his wife celebrating his Father-in-law's birthday. After news of a visiting diplomatic envoy's proposals arrives, the stage is set for Wandor to begin seeking his fourth crown. Read the series in sequence for fullest enjoyment. Don't forget the snack foods and beverages, these stories, although not the meat and potato level of his Peace Company series, are still a blast on a rainy weekend afternoon!
Liked Wandor- Want to see the Battle!

I've read the four Wandor books and want to see Wandor 'Battle'. I found the series to be as readable as Eddings' Belgariad, if not as funny, and want to see Wandor finish off the Black Duke.
