19-year-old, Dior Toussaint's, birthday cruise starts off tolerable despite her fear of large bodies of water, boats, motion sickness spells and her self-diagnoses of agoraphobia, the fear of crowds. She is determined to enjoy as much of the trip as possible, because she is with her family. So packed with an obnoxious bag of over the counter and prescribed meds she plans to manage all ninety-nine of her issues or atleast sleep until they arrive at the Bahamas. Dior finds herself facing many firsts while on the ship, learning new things about her estranged family and discovers a dark secret that she wants to scream out into the open until her lungs bleed. What started as a normal family celebration turns into a trip that Dior wishes she could erase clean from her memory.
