The top 1881 graduate from West Point Academy is faced with a life or death situation in his first few months of military service. A brief incorrect decision sets his life on a course of gunfights and Indian confrontations where both white men and Indian attempt to kill him when all he desires is to serve mankind and promote God's Will. His quest takes him from one cowtown to another including Abilene, Deadwood, Wichita and Dodge City where he encounters Wyatt Earp and Doc Holliday, Wild Bill Hickok and Marshal Matt Dillon. In the cowtowns the citizens beat him, try to hang him and tar and feather him but he relies on God and his trusty horse, Ruby to save him time after time. Eventually, he will be forced to make that life or death decision again! Wanayato The Stone Warrior is filled with Gunfights, shootouts and Indian raids. The Stone Warrior has confrontations with the old west's gunfighters like Wyatt Earp and his brothers Virgil and Morgan along with their friend Doc Holliday in a shootout with the Danby gang who attempt to rob the bank of Tombstone. Pat Garrett, who killed Billy the Kid saves Stoney from a terrible beating by a group of cowboys in Sante Fe and Marshal Skinny Brown kicks Stoney out of town after a confrontation and shootout with three gamblers who attempted to kill him. In Abilene, Marshal James Butler Hickok sends Stoney out of town for good before an angry citizenry can attack him if and when they learn his real identity and this results in a massacre of both Abilene men and Lakota Sioux warriors when their attempt to kill Stoney also fails. The Lakota Chief Yellow Knife and later Chief Black Eagle send their warriors to search out and kill The Stone Man out on the plains, but Ruby often saves him from disaster. Stoney stands shoulder to shoulder with Marshal Matt Dillon in Dodge City when five men ride into town to kill Stoney in revenge. The five outlaws shoot it out with Stoney and Matt in the Dodge City streets when the 6'7" Marshal takes two bullets as Stoney guns down his assailant. Stoney, The Stone Warrior believes he has found utopia and the love of his life in the northwest when he is accepted into the Kooteni tribe as their savior, but then Stoney must win a confrontation with a thousand screaming Blackfoot warriors led by their Chief Prespatau before he can find peace with Savona, the only girl he has ever loved. Another fight with a hoard of Indians led by the Algonquian Chief Taskiwin must be defeated by the Kooteni Army trained and commanded by The Stone Warrior for peace to once again come to the Kooteni Village. Eventually, Stoney must face his most feared confrontation that has seethed inside him with a decision to face certain death or the safety of running away from the village and the people who are his family. Death or Honor - - - that is the question he must face.
