My favorite Pooh book

I am a huge fan of Winnie the Pooh and I first read this one to my two year old son...18 years ago! I still remember it vividly. We were laying on his bed, doing the night-time story routine, and we began reading this for the first time. As I was reading through it, using my special voices for the different characters, I got to a part (I won't blow it for you) that sent me into paralytic laughter....really. I started laughing so hard tears were streaming from my eyes, my chest muscles locked up, and I could hardly breathe as I convulsed off the bed, landing on the floor with a loud thud. Lying there on the ground all I could do was helplessly pound on the floor with one hand I was laughing so hard. Sounds more like a heart-attack right? My wife was pretty concerned too when she raced in to see what was going on, but no, it was a laugh attack. Now granted, sometimes things catch you a certain way, totally by surprise, and they are more effective for that, but honestly, this caught me so off-guard I was thrashing on the floor laughing out loud and it took at least fifteen minutes to calm down because every time I started to relax the line would pop into my head once more and then off I'd go again in gales of laughter. One of the best laughs in my life really. The first time I saw Bad Santa is the only other time I remember laughing out loud so hard I fell off a bed, but this book has replay value, and can be shared with children, whereas Bad Santa was funny for it's shock value and probably shouldn't be watched by anyone under 40. For a pure and innocent laugh this has to be one of the best of my life. Since this book is out-of-print if you are reading this you are probably a reader who liked one of my reviews and decided to check out my other ones. This hopefully caught your eye because it doesn't match up with my other reviews, it being a children's book and not a Roman history piece. If so, do yourself a favor and somehow get a copy of this book for a good belly laugh between your historical forays. If you can, read it to a child your first time, using special voices for the different characters, and tell me if this isn't laugh out loud funny!

Pooh and piglet have an adventure. The pick up rocks at various locations and put them in a sock that has a hole in it, thus all their treasures fall out, but as they return back to their starting spot the " treasures" are there again.
