Poems in this book cover a wide range of topics including love, nature, human relationships, social issues and our internal conflicts. Several poems are on loneliness which is physical, as well as, metaphysical and intellectual, not desirable but a consequent of other events. The subtitle of the book 'The Journey of a Soul' is quite appropriate, as book contains poems which were written over many years. The poems clearly show how the poet sees things differently at different stages of his life. Although some poems are serious and sometimes melancholic in tone, there is also an element of fun in other poems, even poems which are melancholic in tone, in most cases, give a message of hope.
